Classically trained with an MFA from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I'm an actor, director, audiobook narrator, and hopeless Shakespeare nerd who swings a pretty mean broadsword.
Thirty years of teaching high school English and nearly as many years raising four children has given me a deep appreciation for the life-altering power of a relatable story. I lean into character-driven stories, often in the forms of family dramas, YA novels, mysteries, and memoirs.
Having lived in six states before I turned eleven years old, I grew into a rich, grounded Standard American accent which complements my alto voice.
Outside of my creative work, I crave time for yoga, hiking, cycling, and trips to anywhere that begin with a drive to the airport.
I currently live in North Carolina, but I'm preparing for a move to LA in July! I also keep secondary bases in NYC, Glasgow, and London. I'm a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity Association, and Equity UK.
